An Important Message

Hello all of you lovely people.

A while back I promised to have a 100 subscriber special contest and offer prizes. I've been delaying the video for a while and in fact I did attempt to make the video but my camera randomly shat itself, so that was a no-go. I think some of you may have been able to guess that this contest won't be going ahead. But before you flame at me, let me explain why.

For the past few months my family has been going through some personal and financial issues, which has been pretty hard on me and I've had to work through it all while still trying to continue to make videos for you guys. While I do have my own job and I earn my own money and such, I've been using a lot of it to help support my family in this time of need. So, as you can guess, I haven't had a lot of money to spend on trading cards, let alone prizes for a contest I can hardly afford to pay for.

To ease myself out of this contest thing, I took down the moderator on my channel asking for prize suggestions. I also edited my 'channel info' thing. Along with delaying an actual contest video.

I am truly, truly sorry for all of this but hopefully you can understand that I have been pre-occupied with slightly more important thing. That, and school is starting tomorrow, and I need to focus on that. Obviously I can't stop you from unsubscribing, and honestly if you only subscribed to get some freebies then quite frankly I would rather have subscribers that really do like my videos and support me.

I will make a video about this, but I just thought I'd let you all know as soon as I could.

By the way, I'm not making all of this up because I'm cheap. I hope none of you actually think that.

New Videos on the Way

Just a quick little update thingy.

First of all, I've changed the look of the blog, and I'm hoping to do the same to my YouTube Channel because it looks really stupid at the moment. Just thought I would keep the look nice and simple.

Anyway, I've been doing a bit of trading and buying lately which means I'll be able to finally finish off some of my decks so I can make deck profile videos (which I'm really looking forward to making). I plan to show off my Elemental Hero deck, Dimensional Gladiator Beast deck, Macro Monarch deck (still has a fair bit of work first), and Zombie World deck (which also needs a bit of attention). I'm trying to finish them off as soon as I can, and if you would like to check out my trading wants list and help me out I would really appreciate it.

Also, I've bought an Ancient Sanctuary booster box which I'm looking forward to. And before you ask, there's a few cards I need from it, which is why I bought one.

Finally, my 100 Subscriber Contest is going to commence shortly. I'm making a video about within the next few days, so keep your peepers peeled for that one. I also really need your help organising prizes, so if you could once again check out my channel and suggest reasonable prizes, then please do.

Back (with a Vengeance)

4 months ago I bought a bunch of old school Pokemon packs. I made one video opening 2 Jungle packs and saying I would upload the other videos as soon as I could. It's been 4 months and I haven't uploaded a single one. On my computer I have (at least I hope I still do) about 6 or so videos that still need uploading that I promised I would upload ages ago. Now, I don't want to say I'll promise to upload them all, because we all know how my promises end up, so I'll just say that I am really, really aspiring to upload them within the next month or two (I like to wait until the end of the month so my monthly download can renew the week after).

As a little wow-factor to this thing, I want to "announce" my return to my YouTube Channel. I have already ordered a few goodies to use in my next videos. I also got my tripod back in March which I wanted to use to make Deck Profile videos, which I definitely am planning to make again.

As far as trading goes, I'm not sure how to play this. For now, I'll say that I am not trading until I post a new trade binder video, which will be sometime within the next month or two. My binder's pretty much the same as my last one, but no trades until then. Sorry.

The contest is still up and running I believe. I still really need to work on the prizes (I haven't gotten any of them yet), but I do still want to have a contest to say thank-you to all my subscribers. Speaking of which, a huge thank you to all those who have stayed with me while I've been away as well as a welcome to the newcomers. By the way, this contest is hopefully going to be something new and original (then again, nothing I ever do is) and personally I think it will be a blast!

Glow-Up Bulb and Monster Binders

The night before yesterday I was roaming around ebay, dreaming of all of these Yu-Gi-Oh cards I could waste my money on, when I came across a Glow-Up Bulb (Ultra rare) for sale - it was only 1.29 or something at the time. I put a watch on it, then went and did something else. I think I went to bed, actually. Then, when I woke up in the morning I wanted to see how much it was up to (I figured a popular card like Glow-Up Bulb would be pretty high right now), and it was only $30. It had about 2 hours to go, and I figured people would start bidding in the last few minutes, so like a fool I put a bid on for $31. When I came home from work I was stunned to see that I had won it! I had to spend the money I got from work that day on the damn Glow-Up Bulb instead of a new Monster Binder I was planning to buy - but I bought both anyway. So in about 4 days or so, I'll have a Glow-Up Bulb for trade.

Also, because my trade binder is pretty much empty now because I'm going to start using a lot of the cards in it, I might hold off this month's trade binder video (I plan to make updated ones every month) - what do you guys think? I'm thinking of buying a bunch of cards for the trade binder from the US for next to nothing, since the Aussie dollar is kicking the US dollar's ass! :-P
